I’m up to three story submissions for Tasty so far and I’m so excited/nervous/scared. I guess my fears have kind of gone from the fear of little to no interest to, what if people actually are interested and what if the submissions start pouring in? I guess there is a such thing as fear of success.
I didn’t post here, but my story Reasoning was accepted for publication in Rachel Kramer Bussel’s upcoming anthology, Best Bondage Erotica 2011. I haven’t been a “Best of” anthology in a whole and this is my first bondage story, ever!
… story submission that is. I received my first author submission for my (hopefully) upcoming anthology, Tasty, a few days ago and I’m proud to say that it came from a very well-known and highly respected author and editor of erotica. I am so… pleased! So pleased in fact that, right now, I’m at a loss for words!
As it turns out, it was just that bad, but fortunately, I was able to commute more than I originally planned/thought I would be able to. I only ended up spending about five nights there and it did add a little stress as far as getting to class on time and getting assignments done, but for the sake of my family (and my sanity) I made it happened and came out of the two week course with a 94 average. Of course, perfectionist that I am, I was aiming for a 100, but after all I went through, I’ll take that 94, thank you very much.
Upon return, I received payment for my story in Fast Girls which was nice and ai should be receiving the contributor’s copies soon.
I also got info on the status odf my daughter’s IEP. I’m trying to get the kids into daycare for the summer now, but other than that, not much going on in my neck of the woods.
